IR active components

The ULTRAMAT 6 and ULTRAMAT 23 series gas analyzers use the NDIR method to continuously and highly selectively measure one or more IR active gases, with absorption bands in the infrared region from 2 to 9 micrometers, for example, CO, CO2, NO, SO2, NH3, H2O, CH4 and other hydrocarbons.

The ULTRAMAT 23 is a low cost analyzer in a 19" housing, designed for standard applications e.g. measurement of emissions in accordance with 13 BImSch and ambient air monitoring etc.

The ULTRAMAT 6 is a high-end analyzer available in a 19" design or in a robust field housing for mounting in the open air. With its additional purge unit, the ULTRAMAT 6 field unit is suitable to be installed in Ex zone 1 or 2. In general, its range of uses covers all areas from the measurement of emissions through to use in processes for the management of production methods and assurance of product quality, even in the presence of highly corrosive gases.

The analyzers can easily be added to an integrated automation system via RS 485, PROFIBUS DP and PROFIBUS PA interfaces, and can be parameterized and operated using the PDM tool. For fast and easy maintenance, the analyzers can also communicate with the Siprom GA software tool that is integrated into the Ethernet via TCP/IP.
